Woodstock Woman Accused Of 'Intentionally' Harming Child: Report

According to Northwest Herald, a criminal complaint claims she grabbed a child by the wrist, pulling him from a closet and striking him.

WOODSTOCK, IL — A Woodstock woman faces felony charges stemming from accusations she intentionally harmed a child last month, according to reports. Northwest Herald said 34-year-old Rebecca L. Wise, from the 200 block of Dean Street, is accused of grabbing a child under 13 years old by the wrist and pulling him from a closet before hitting him with an open hand, according to a criminal complaint filed with the McHenry County Circuit Clerk's Office.

Wise was arrested last month, and faces charges of aggravated battery to a child younger than 13 years old and domestic battery, according to the news report.
