Woman Charged With Prostitution In Portsmouth
Police in Portsmouth have arrested a 53-year-old woman in connection with prostitution at a local hotel.
PORTSMOUTH, NH — A woman has been arrested in connection with prostitution at a local hotel, according to police. Shu Ping Lin, 53, who has no fixed address listed, was arrested on Thursday. She is charged with Class A misdemeanor prostitution, police say.
According to the Portsmouth police, the Special Investigations Unit began to investigate after learning about possible criminal activity at a local hotel. Lin was arrested and held without bail due to her lack of cooperation, as she would not provide her address, police say. She is scheduled for arraignment Friday.
