In the snapshot, the former First Daughter is holding up the skirt of her blue pleated gown while posing with Harry, who has a champagne flute in his hand. He was dressed casually for the party in a sleeveless T-shirt and dark pants, possibly having taken off the top half of his suit.

'Harry... Words can't express how special you were and will always be to me and to all of those who had the honor to call you their friend,' Tiffany wrote. 'You were such a positive bright light and shared that spirit with all of those around you. I will cherish our memories and friendship forever. I love you! @harry_brant.'

The Georgetown Law graduate ended the tribute with a quote from 13th-century poet Rumi, writing: 'Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.'

The news of Harry's tragic death came just a few days before Tiffany announced her engagement to Michael Boulos, the 23-year-old heir to the multi-billion dollar Nigerian conglomerate Boulos Enterprises.

Michael proposed to her at the Rose Garden at the White House last weekend, presenting her with a 13-carat diamond engagement ring.

Tiffany's tribute to Harry followed his family's messages, including a statement his parents had released to The New York Times on Monday.

'We will forever be saddened that Harry's life was cut short by this devastating disease,' they said. 'Harry achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never get the chance to see how much more he could have done.'

Harry, who was raised in ritzy Greenwich, Connecticut, was a prominent socialite and reportedly struggled with drug addiction for many years.

Along with his older brother, Peter Jr., he became famous for experimenting with gender in fashion and beauty. In 2015, the pair founded Brant Brothers, a unisex makeup line together with MAC.

Harry's parents paid tribute to his creative flair and entrepreneurial spirit in their statement to The Times.

'Harry was a creative, loving, and powerful soul that brought light into so many people's hearts. He was truly a beautiful person inside and out.'

They added that he was a 'trailblazer of beauty and cosmetic products for men, collaborating with a major brand on a unisex cosmetic line.'

'He was also a dedicated writer for Interview Magazine and his dream was to be a much bigger part of its creative department.'

Despite professional success, Harry had reportedly struggled with drugs. In 2016, he was arrested after refusing to pay a cab fare in Connecticut.

Officers were called to the scene where they found the 'baggie of white substance in his wallet.' He was charged with larceny, interfering with an officer, and drug possession.

The same year, his brother Peter Jr. was charged with assault after allegedly getting into a fight with a Port Authority officer at JFK Airport.

Harry's grieving brother honored him with a moving message on Instagram, sharing a photo of him with model Gaia Matisse that was taken on Sunday, the day he overdosed.

'Today we lay to rest, and honor the life of my brother, a true angel of light, an extraordinarily unique soul unlike any who have come before,' Peter Jr. wrote.

In the photo, Harry and Gaia are wearing maroon velvet outfits while lying atop a large floral rug.

'This photo taken on his last day, shows the eternal beauty he will forever hold,' Peter Jr. said of the image.

The model then opened up about his mourning for his brother and the close relationship they shared.

'It is impossible to express the devastation I feel for the loss of one with whom I shared not only a lifetime of beautiful memories, but with one who cared so deeply for my own happiness, was so devoted to my personal comfort,' he wrote. 'It is the loss not only of a brother, but of a best friend, my other half.

'My heart shatters to think we will never see that dear sweet face again,' Peter concluded the message.

In addition to Peter Jr., Harry is survived by his younger sibling, Lily Brant, 16, who opened up about her grief over his death on Instagram.

'My amazing big brother and my best friend, words cannot describe how much I will miss you,' she captioned a photograph of them together in 2010.

'You were the most amazing brother to me and you stuck with me through everything. You had the most beautiful and sensitive soul and a sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day.

'You lit up my world and my heart is full of love for you. A piece of you will remain with me forever. I love you indefinitely Harry.'

Harry also had an older half-brother from his mother's previous marriage to guitarist Tommy Andrews as well as four half-siblings from his father's previous marriage to Sandra Brant.

A family friend told People on Tuesday that Harry's father had been 'trying to get him to go to rehab again' amid worry and frustration about his son's drug habit.

'It's hard, anyone who knows addiction knows this,' the source said. 'We all knew he had this problem.'

The insider said that Harry and older brother Peter 'were inseparable' siblings, as 'they complemented each other, they were always there for each other, and of course they fought, like siblings do.'

Harry 'had everything going on for him' and 'was way beyond his years,' the source noted.
