Loudoun South Makes Little League World Series

A victory over a Georgia team is sending these kids to Pennsylvania to play another regional champion.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — With a 12-2 victory over Peachtree City, Georgia, the Loudoun South Little League team advanced to the Little League World Series. The team's Wednesday victory in the Southeast Regional Championship was well-earned.

Next, the team is on to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, where they'll play the winners of the New England Regional Championship, WTOP reported.

The outlet reported some particularly strong players in Wednesday's game were pitcher Justin Lee with seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings, Chase Obstgarten with a home run and four RBIs and Colton Hicks with a home run and two RBIs.
