ORANGE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Orange Police Department announced that a new member is joining the department, K-9 Swoop.
K-9 Swoop is a black lab with amazing energy and a drive for work as well as play. Several local businesses have already started to support K-9 Swoop with fundraising efforts.
Swoop will be starting the K-9 Academy in a few weeks with his handler Officer Kyle Johnson, where they will be trained in obedience, narcotics interdiction, and the legal aspects of police K-9 work, to officially join the department.
