Fairfax Police Expand Search For Missing Reston Man
Fairfax County Police Department is expanding its search Saturday for Michael Delany, a Reston man who has been missing since May 10.
RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police Department's Search and Rescue Team along with partner agencies will be conducting an expanded search Saturday around Reston Hospital, according to a post on the FCPD's official Twitter account. They will be looking for Michael Delaney, 75, who has been missing since May 10, around 9 p.m.
In the days following Delaney's disappearance, search and rescue teams from the Shenandoah Mountain Rescue Group from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and Prince William County Police combed the area around the hospital looking for him. On May 14, FCPD suspended its search.
The Virginia State Police issued a senior alert for Delaney on May 19, but he has not been located.

Delaney has blue eyes and gray hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a yellow hospital gown and jeans. He also wears dark-framed glasses and possibly was wearing a black wristwatch, school ring and wedding band According to police, he is endangered due to mental and/or physical health concerns.
The public is asked to call 703-691-2131 if they locate Delaney or if they have any information about his whereabouts.
