Central Park Five member buys $960K Harlem apartment

At age 16, Korey Wise was the eldest of the Central Park Five to be wrongfully accused and jailed in the 1989 rape and beating of a 28-year-old jogger.

Wise, portrayed by Jharrel Jerome in Netflix’s “When They See Us,” was the only defendant to be tried as an adult and suffered terrible abuse during his nearly 14 years in prison.

Now 46, Wise is a criminal justice activist and public speaker — as well as the new owner of a $925,000 one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in Harlem.

The 803-square-foot condo was listed for $960,000, and includes a washer/dryer, oversize windows and an open kitchen.

The unit’s also got hardwood floors, a marble bathroom with porcelain flooring, and central heat and air.

The listing broker was David Benichou, of R New York. Wise’s broker, Warburg’s Kemdi Anosike, declined to comment.

After a convicted murderer and rapist, Matias Reyes, confessed to the 1989 assault and rape in 2002, the Central Park Five sued the city.

By 2014, the city settled, paying out $41 million to the wrongfully convicted Central Park Five.

In 2015, Wise donated $190,000 to the Innocence Project at the University of Colorado Boulder.
