It’s been an incredible 50 years since George Lazenby made his debut as Agent 007 in the film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” Now there is an equally incredible new Omega watch to commemorate it.
Omega just released its new Seamaster Diver 300M, a perfect piece for Lazenby, as well as for Bonds Daniel Craig and Sean Connery, and all aspiring secret agents. The 42mm watch features a black-on-black case and ceramic dial with a spiral-brushed gun-barrel design. The hands and indexes are created with 18k yellow gold.
But it’s the watch’s hidden features that give it its Q-approved credentials. For instance, the index at 12 o’clock is inspired by the Bond family coat of arms. The dial resembles the view down the barrel of a gun seen in the opening credits of the Bond films. Better still, on the seventh day of each month, the number seven on the date window switches to the 007 logo font. Finally, in the dark, a hidden 50 appears on the 10 o’clock index within the Super-LumiNova — a nod to the anniversary of the film.

“[It’s] a fitting tribute to a classic Bond film and one of cinema’s most iconic characters,” Omega president and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann said in a statement. “This extraordinary watch is elegant, full of surprises and sure to be extremely popular with collectors and fans of the character, due to its many Bond-related features.”
The special chronograph is outfitted with a black rubber strap and comes with an interchangeable stainless-steel band. It is housed in a black box with Bond-appropriate design and is available for $6,500. Each of the limited-edition watches will boast an 18k yellow-gold plate engraved with the edition number.
Fittingly, only 7,007 pieces will be sold.
