Weekend highlights include Ringo Starr concerts, a carnival, BBQ & Bluegrass Festival and more much.
As we move through August, families will want to get out and enjoy summer events before school begins. Northern Virginia and DC has something for everyone this weekend, from plentiful food festivals to concerts.
We've rounded up numerous events going on from Friday, Aug. 9 to Sunday, Aug. 11. Some are free, while others have fees.
