A deer that was apparently "playing chicken" with a train on Metro's Silver Line just outside of Reston caused some minor headaches for WMATA Thursday morning.

Virginia, DC Hospital Safety Grades Released For Fall 2018

Thirty-four Virginia hospitals received an A grade in hospital safety, according to new Fall 2018 ratings released by the Leapfrog Group. Virginia is one of five states with the most A grades, while The District and two states had no A grades.

$5K Reward Offered For Tips On Dying Dog Left In Park

The Humane Rescue Alliance, a District group, is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who left an emaciated dog to die in a park.
