• A source claims Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson weren’t in a “proper” relationship when he cheated with Jordyn Woods.
  • Khloé and Tristan “didn’t even spend Valentine’s Day together.”

Well, good morning, a People source is out here with a cheating scandal ~plot twist~ that you definitely did not see coming. Obviously, we all know that Tristan “Third Trimester” Thompson was the literal worst to Khloé Kardashian and cheated on her not once but twice during their relationship—the first time while she was nine freakin’ months pregnant with their daughter and the second time with Kylie Jenner’s best friend Jordyn Woods.

And while there’s no denying that it’s awful of Tristan to flirt with/kiss a close family friend, People’s source claims that he and Khloé weren’t fully together at the time of the incident.

“When the Jordyn drama happened, Khloé and Tristan were not in a proper relationship,” the source says. “They had not been for weeks. They didn’t even spend Valentine’s Day together, which was right before he messed around with Jordyn.”

Hmm, okay, but it’s worth pointing out that Khloé’s behavior during Sunday’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians was very much that of someone in a relationship. Not only was she prepping her new home for Tristan’s arrival, but she was talking about how much she missed him and had just dealt with a pregnancy scare as well.

And even the source says, “This doesn’t mean that it was completely over for Khloé. It was very difficult for her to find out about Tristan and Jordyn. But this is what made her realize that Tristan would never change. It was heartbreaking for her. She always hoped there was a way things could work out, because that’s what she wanted for True. She wanted True to live with both her parents.”

At this point, Khloé and Tristan are very much *not* together, but because Khloé is a decent and forgiving person, she’s doing her part to make sure Tristan is in True’s life—even inviting him to her birthday party. But does the fact that they weren’t *technically* in a “proper” relationship at the time of his cheating make it any more excusable?
