Florida Panthers trade for defenseman Gustav Bouramman from Minnesota Wild

The Florida Panthers are continuing to attempt to solidify their defense as the team has acquired defenseman Gustav Bouramman from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for future considerations.

Bouramman, a former seventh-round pick (201st overall) by the Wild in the 2015 draft, most recently appeared in 23 games with the Iowa Wild of the AHL during the 2018-2019 season.

The 6-foot, 194-pound right shot defenseman spent the 2017-18 season with the Rapid City Rush of the East Coast Hockey League and recorded 28 points (5-23-28) in 54 games played.

While a member of the Ontario Hockey League (2014-15 to 2016-17), the Stockholm, Sweden native collected 126 points (13-113-126) for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds and averaged 42 points per season.
