TV Reporter From Crystal Lake Dies In Motorcycle Crash
Jennifer Lenzini grew up in Crystal Lake. The collision happened Saturday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida.
FORT MYERS, FLORIDA — A 26-year-old TV reporter and Crystal Lake native, who idolized Diane Sawyer while growing up, died following a motorcycle crash in Florida Saturday afternoon, Waterman Broadcasting is reporting.
Jennifer Lenzini was "standout reporter" who was diligent in her work at the time of her death. She was riding on the back of a motorcycle when the driver lost control and hit a tree in Fort Myers, Florida. The driver died at the scene and Lenzini was flown to a Sarasota hospital where she later died, according to the report.
