JetBlue flight 1954 was headed to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan in a nearly three-hour flight when the passenger gave birth, airline spokeswoman Tamara Young told WPLG. Mother and baby are doing well, ABC News reported. The birth comes just months after a Philippines Airlines flight attendant breastfed a passenger’s baby when the mother ran out of formula during the flight in November.
