Musikfest voted ‘Best Festival in North America’ by USA Today

USA Today recently ran a “Reader’s Choice 2019” poll surrounding the popular summer event: music festivals.

USA Today’s panel of ‘music connoisseurs’ hand-picked 20 festivals across the United States that give their visitors the widest variety of music in one place.

These 20 festivals and a brief description were presented to the readers of USA Today and their votes were tallied over the last four weeks.

Readers determined the top 10 out of 20 best music festivals in North America, with our very own Musikfest ranking as number one. (Cue the fireworks over the SteelStacks.)

USA Today’s site explained, “Musikfest was founded in 1984 with 295 performances on six stages. Today, this event in the (City) of Bethlehem has grown to include 500-plus shows on 16 stages over the course of 10 days, with some 900,000 music lovers in attendance each year. Past headliners have included The Chainsmokers, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and The Goo Goo Dolls.”

Other music festivals who made it into the top 10 included Riot Fest in Chicago, Life is Beautiful Music & Art Festival in Las Vegas, and Outside Lands in San Francisco.
