Sephora Grand Opening At Fair Lakes Kohl's Store Set For Wednesday

FAIRFAX, VA — Kohl's announced in February that it would be adding freestanding Sephora shops to sell new prestige beauty brands at 400 locations in 36 states, including 11 in Virginia, this year.

“We’re thrilled to be bringing Sephora at Kohl’s closer to millions more of our customers nationwide through this 400 store expansion,” said Doug Howe, Kohl’s chief merchandising officer, in a release. “The quick and vast rollout of Sephora at Kohl’s is a testament to how much we believe in this partnership and making prestige beauty more accessible to people everywhere. We’re excited to grow and bring this elevated beauty experience to more of Kohl’s existing and new customers this year.”

The Kohl's store located at 12551 Fair Lakes Circle in Fair Lakes will hosting the grand opening of its Sephora stand on Wednesday.

At its in-store Sephora shops, Kohl's will continue to offer the Rare Beauty, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl’s, Giorgio Armani, Olaplex, Clinique, and Sephora Collection beauty brands. Customers will also be able to purchase six new brands: Murad, Clarins, Jack Black, Living Proof, Versace, and Voluspa.

Not only customers be able to purchase a carefully curated assortment of makeup, skincare, hair, and fragrance brands, but they'll receive personalized beauty consultations and assistance by Sephora-trained beauty advisers.

With the addition of the new Sephora shops at 400 stores this year to the 200 that already exist, Kohl's is on track to have Sephora shops at 850 of its stores by 2023.
