On Sunday, we asked readers who they thought Staten Island’s top PSAL hitter was to date, and the votes have come pouring in for our five contenders since.
Though polling remains open until Friday (feel free to vote as often as you’d like), two players have begun to separate themselves from the rest of the pack.
As of Wednesday, Tottenville’s Jake Myers remains at the top of the list with almost 42 percent (nearly 17,000 votes) of the over 40,000 votes cast.
New Dorp’s Mike Deluca isn’t far behind with nearly 12,000 votes -- approximately 29 percent of the tally.
Nichael Navedo (Curtis) and Angel Santiago (Port Richmond) have accrued about 5,000 votes apiece, while Susan Wagner’s Anthony Frange sits behind them with over 1,600 votes.
Be sure to check back on Friday when we announce the winner!
