Brad Pitt arrived solo to the 2020 Golden Globes for good reason.

The 56-year-old actor, who was previously married to Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston, almost brought his mother as his plus one, but decided against it.

“I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn’t because anyone I stand next to they say I’m dating,” he joked. “It’d just be awkward.”

But the eligible Hollywood bachelor did acknowledge his bromance with Leonardo DiCaprio and even revealed his nickname for his co-star.

“I want to thank my partner-in-crime, L.D.C.,” Pitt said of DiCaprio. “You know before the ‘Revenant,’ I used to watch, year after year, his co-stars accept awards and get up and thank him profusely. I know why. He’s an all-star, he’s a gent, and I wouldn’t be here without you man.  I thank you.”

DiCaprio smiled proudly as Pitt accepted his award for best supporting actor in a motion picture for his role in their film “Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood.”
