Yes, Sen. Kevin Cramer, the U.S. should stop starting stupid "endless wars" like we did in Iraq, but radio talk host Howard Stern and tapes of his show have confirmed that Donald Trump in 2002 supported the invasion of and war with Iraq—and maybe there is tape of Cramer supporting that, too?
The Kurds have provided protection to Yazidis, who were being murdered or enslaved by ISIS. Nadia Murad, recipient of a 2018 Nobel Peace Prize, was sexually enslaved and her mother and six brothers were killed by ISIS. The U.S. is responsible for destabilizing the Middle East and the creation of ISIS, so it is now our responsibility to protect those innocents and allies that have suffered and continue to suffer because of our imperialistic stupidity.
In an exchange at the recent Democratic debate, two military veterans disagreed about Trump's precipitous withdrawal of U.S. troops. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said that it was not only Trump who had “the blood of the Kurds on his hands, ”but also politicians in both parties and news media organizations that had cheered for 'regime change war.'" I agree with, that but also agree with Mayor Pete Buttigieg's rebuttal to her remarks, that Gabbard was “dead wrong,” arguing that “the slaughter going on [now] in Syria is not a consequence of American presence — it is a consequence of a withdrawal and a betrayal by this president of American allies and American values.”
