An Atlanta police spokesman said officers usually don't pursue dirt bikes and ATVs in their patrol cars, because the vehicles drive on sidewalks, weave between vehicles and go off-road when they're being chased by police. The department did, however, move more police vans and other vehicles in the areas where the dirt bikes and ATVs were seen.
