Harper Beckham fan gets the ‘Beckham bob’ live on TV and regrets it immediately: ‘It looks like a wig’

Harper Beckham is just seven years old and already fans are flocking to get her Anna Wintour inspired bob – though a viewer on Lorraine today seemed to regret her decision immediately.

Katie appeared on the ITV chat show where she was joined by celebrity hair stylist Jamie Stevens, to get her long blonde locks chopped off and become the latest trendsetter sporting the fob – aka the French girl bob.

‘Don’t be too nervous,’ cackled Christine Lampard, who is temporarily filling in for the titular host.

The busy mum-of-four was clearly very excited for some early morning pampering, and what could go wrong?

Well…

At the end of the show, it was time for the big reveal and despite Katie semi-claiming she liked her new look, her reaction said otherwise.

Initially speechless, she said: ‘I’m shocked. It’s a real shock.’

Jamie asked: ‘Is that a good or bad shock?’

‘I feel like it’s a wig,’ she added, through gritted teeth, insisting that was a compliment.

Viewers weren’t convinced with an onslaught of tweets all agreeing: ‘She hates it.’

‘Oh man she really did not like that bob,’ wrote one shocked onlooker, which was immediately followed by: ‘Yeah that woman wants to break down in tears.’

And the posts just kept pouring in, with one more adding: ‘Yeah… she didn’t like that haircut one bit.’

We actually think she looks lovely, but each to their own.
