This is the shocking moment a woman punched a Greggs customer in the head as she placed her order before the pair kicked each other while rolling around on the floor.

The clip, believed to have been filmed in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, showed a woman in a black leather jacket striking another on the head several times before pushing her against the sandwich display.

After the attacker falls on the floor, the other woman kicks her before being dragged away after also falling to the ground. This gives her opponent the chance to try and attack again, but she is fought off by another woman and also falls over.

The video was posted to Daniel Colquhoun's Facebook page on Sunday with the incident believed to have taken place the previous evening.

Speaking today, the 29-year-old, who said he was sent the clip, said: 'It was crazy, happens all the time in that Greggs.

'I've seen a few people fighting over the warm sausage rolls too! Sooner that branch is shut down the better.'

A Greggs spokesman said: 'We can confirm that there was an incident at our shop on Gordon Street, Glasgow.

'The safety of our colleagues and customers is extremely important to us, and we are cooperating with the police as they investigate the matter.'
