A Community Connect event is coming to Virginia next week for people experiencing or at risk of being homeless.

The event includes a hot meal and access to resources and information on housing and other free services in the community, a St. Louis County news release said this week.

The event will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday at Miner's Memorial Building, 821 S. Ninth Ave., in Virginia. A similar event was held in Duluth this week.

The services available at the Community Connect event include representatives able to help with housing, medical and legal services, plus opportunities to resolve outstanding warrants.
