But it's not always easy to track down one of the chain's stores, as Trader Joe's isn't in all 50 states just yet. Fortunately, the national grocery store chain is constantly adding new locations, with many openings for 2023 already in the works. We rounded up the current list of 2023 Trader Joe's store openings below, and we'll add to the update as new stores are announced. Until a new Trader Joe's location opens near you, the store finder can help you find any Trader Joe's already in your state. New Trader Joe's Locations in 2023 Ablokhin/Getty Images 01 of 05 Glastonbury, Connecticut Connecticut was already home to eight Trader Joe's stores with the announcement that the Constitution State would gain a ninth TJ's outpost in February 2023. The new location is about 15 minutes from Hartford. Address: 400 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT 06033 02 of 05 Draper, Utah When the Draper store opened in February, it became the fourth Trader Joe's location in Utah, joining outposts in Cottonwood Heights, Orem, and Salt Lake City. The store opened in March with employees giving out Hawaiian leis to some of the first customers. Address: 11477 S State St., Draper, UT 84020 03 of 05 Cypress, California The Cypress store (located in northwestern Orange County) opened in May 2023. The new location joined the more-than 190 other California outposts of the grocer. Address: 5245 Katella Ave., Cypress, CA 90720 04 of 05 Forest Hills, New York The national chain confirmed in May that it was building a new outpost in Forest Hills, saying in a release: “We’ve consulted our maps and compass and have found a terrific location for a store in Forest Hills, NY. We are proud to be joining the neighborhood, and to continue our commitment to providing nourishment to the surrounding communities through our Neighborhood Shares program.” Address: 69-65 Yellowstone Blvd., Queens, NY 11375 05 of 05 Lakewood Ranch, Florida Trader Joe's will open the second store in the Sarasota-Bradenton area in Lakewood Ranch later this year. Once the store is open, it will be the 10th Trader Joe’s location in the Sunshine State. This location is also part of the grocer's Neighborhood Shares program. As part of the program, the store will donate 100% of any products that go unsold (but are still fit to be enjoyed) to local food recovery organizations.
