TV actor Morgan Stevens’ cause of death has been revealed.

Stevens, who was best known for playing David Reardon on “Fame,” died of natural causes due to arteriosclerosis cardiovascular disease, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office said, according to People. He was 70.

The Knoxville, Tenn.-born actor, who was also known for his roles as Nick Diamond on “Melrose Place” and Jack Gardner in the “A Year in the Life” miniseries and subsequent series, was pronounced dead in his kitchen during a wellness check on Jan. 26.

Arteriosclerosis, according to the Mayo Clinic, happens with the thickening and stiffening of blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients from a person’s heart to their arteries, which can restrict the flow of blood to one’s organs and tissues.

At the time Stevens was found, he hadn’t been seen or heard from for days and no foul play was suspected, police confirmed to TMZ.

Stevens during his television career, which began in 1970 and ended with a 1999 episode of “Walker, Texas Ranger,” also included a handful of “Murder, She Wrote” parts and the role of Les Bostic on “Murder One.” He also penned the 1984 “Fame” episode, “Catch a Falling Star.”
