Sharon Stone films video on how to make a safe room amid protests

Sharon Stone is offering her two million Instagram followers some nifty tips on how to create a safe room in your home during a riot.

“Probably the safest bet that you have might be your bathroom because you have maybe the least windows or you’re the most tucked in there,” the 62-year-old actress said in an Instagram video on Monday. “And if that’s the case, the least windows and the place that you could lock yourself in the most.”

Clad in a turban, sunglasses and bright red lipstick, Stone advised people to “put some blankets and pillows in the tub in case you’re going to need to sleep there,” and a “few non-perishable things that you can eat, some fruit or protein bars.”

The “Basic Instinct” star counseled people to bring their computers, phones and chargers. She also suggested boarding up the room, if possible, and perhaps, most importantly, “Don’t panic, and if you think you’re going to panic, take any panic medications or anything that you would like to have in there and just have that place prepared for you.”

Despite giving tips on how to turn your bathroom into a fortress of solitude, Stone concluded by recommending that people not be “over reactive. This will come and go like all things do, OK?”

Stone has been quarantining in her Beverly Hills estate with two of her three sons.
