HERNDON, VA — A group of local businesses is teaming up to make Valentine's Day a little brighter for residents at the Herndon Harbor House senior residential community.

To participate in the Valentine's Day Goodie Bags and Pen Pals event, members of the public are invited to visit either of the Weird Brothers Coffee locations to drop off valentines and goodie bags for Harbor House residents. They can also sign up to become of a pen pal for one of the senior residents by emailing PenPal@eotherize.com or they can make a donation to the Harbor House Village Network.

The goal of this effort is to help combat isolation and encourage forming connections with Herndon House residents during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond.
