What’s worse than cops who abuse their position to force a teenager to have sex and perform fellatio on them? That would be having those same two cops resort to victim-blaming in order to avoid an indictment as a result of their heinous acts.
Disgraced New York City cops Eddie Martins and Richard Hall have admitted to having sex with the victim while on duty, but they claim it was consensual. In the wake of a $50 million lawsuit the 18-year-old has filed against the city, lawyers for the disgusting duo wrote a letter to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office on Thursday citing social media posts the young woman made, and saying that she was not acting like the victim of a rape, according to the New York Post.
John Arlia and Mark Bederow, the lawyers representing the two officers, said that the victim posted a “provocative selfie” on Instagram and tweeted about being followed by the “paparazzi” after an Oct. 13 meeting with prosecutors.
Their letter also cites a tweet she wrote in response to another Twitter user in which she said, “Stop clocking my shit u loser, I hope ya mommy gets gang raped gangsta 100%.”
“This behavior is unprecedented for a depressed victim of a vicious rape,” the lawyers wrote in their letter.
The Post obtained a copy of the letter and reports that it says the young woman previously called herself “Anna Chambers” online but has “rebranded herself as a wannabe rapper named Fi5ty Milli,” which the lawyers say is “an obvious reference to her lawsuit.”
“She has posted Instagram videos of herself using drugs and rapping in her ‘Fi5ty Milli’ persona about the case while joking about the millions that will be ‘in her bank account,’” the lawyers wrote.
The lawyers are asking prosecutors “to further investigate Chambers’ dubious claim before you ask the grand jury to return an indictment against Martins and Hall.”
The victim alleges that on Sept. 15, the officers in question found prescription drugs in her car during a traffic stop. They allegedly let the two young men who were with her go, but forced her to stay with them. While claiming to be searching for drugs, they had her take off her clothing. They didn’t find any but cuffed her anyway, she says, and pressured her into having sex with them.
The officers allegedly told her, “You’ll spend three hours in the precinct. This is what you’re going to do for us, and we’ll let you go.”
Michael David—the victim’s attorney—told the Post, “There was zero consent. The cops were over 6 feet tall. She’s very petite, like, 5 feet 2 and maybe 100 pounds. There’s nothing she could do.”
Hall and Martins were subsequently stripped of their badges and guns and placed on modified duty. Their supervisor, Sgt. John Espey, was also stripped of his badge and gun for failure to supervise.
DNA from both Hall and Martins was found on the victim.

She’s 18. All of this could be a way of acting out or be coping mechanisms for something that is extremely traumatic. But, please, tell us more about the things she should be doing instead.
The cops are admitting to having what they call consensual sex with the victim while they were on duty. A victim with whom they only came in contact because they did a traffic stop. Tell me how even that would be considered OK?
At worst, they are rapists who used their badges to intimidate a victim. Beyond that, they are disgusting pigs who used their badges to manipulate people into having sex with them.
In other words, they are disgusting pigs who abuse their badges and their power, either way it goes.
But not all cops, right?
