Sunday Brunch brought us a dose of nostalgia yesterday as Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging's very own Georgia Groome made an appearance on the Channel 4 show.
Georgia played Georgia Nicolson in the 2008 teen film, which, by the way, is still one of the greatest films ever made. Fact.
Georgia appeared on Sunday Brunch along with Michael Socha to promote their new film Double Date.
The film is described as a "horror comedy" about a guy called Jim who attempts to lose his virginity before he turns 30, only for he and his friend Alex (played by Michael) to meet two beautiful sisters, Kitty and Lulu (played by Georgia), who seduce them as part of their plan of virgin sacrifice.
"It was fairly low budget," Georgia said of the movie. "So not very long [to film]. It was about five weeks."
"With Double Date, a lot of stuff was made up," Michael added. "You just sort of make it up on the day. You could throw in whatever we fancied at the time. We were quite lucky in that respect, we were part of the creative process, really."
Viewers were VERY excited to see Georgia again after all these years, and jumped straight on Twitter to tell us about it.
Hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer spoke to Georgia about Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging. But, much to our disappointment, she was quick to admit that the cast were happy they didn't make a second film.
"It was like a playground," Georgia said. "I wouldn't necessarily go back – it was a lot of kissing."
And when asked about a sequel, the actress shot the idea down real fast.
"They were gonna do it at the time, but I don't think anybody really would have done it," she said.
"Angus was nice, but I don't think a second one would have been worth it, so we were quite glad we didn't have to go back."
Twitter was NOT impressed.
