HARRISBURG, PA — Some Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores will reopen Friday, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board announced Wednesday. There are 77 Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores slated to open at the end of the week; all are in counties designated to move into the yellow phase of coronavirus mitigation measures.

The stores will resume limited in-store public access and will be following guidance for businesses issued by the Wolf Administration.

All of the state's liquor stores have been closed since March 17 as part of the coronavirus mitigation measures.

Each location has been professionally sanitized, and Plexiglas has been installed at registers to provide a physical barrier at checkout.

There will be a number of rules and restrictions in place once customers return.

Stores will limit the number of shoppers; no more than 25 people (employees and customers) will be permitted in any location. There may be stricter limits in smaller stores.

The first hour each store is open each day will be reserved for customers at high risk for the coronavirus, including those 65 and older. All customers and employees will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing. There will be signage throughout the stores reminding customers of the rules, which will also include one-way patterns.

Store employees will perform "enhanced and frequent cleaning and disinfecting," the PLCB said. Plus, store hours will be modified to ensure appropriate time for cleaning and restocking.

All sales will be final; there will be no returns.
