As if there wasn’t enough live-streaming services to keep folks busy during the pandemic, there’s a relatively new streaming service in town.
Peacock is an American over-the-top streaming service owned and operated by the television and streaming division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Named after the NBC logo, the service launched on July 15, 2020.
The network, in fact, used the slogan “Prouder Than A Peacock” from 1979 to 1981.
Watch hundreds of movies, thousands of episodes, binge-worthy TV shows, sports, news, pop culture and more on Peacock.
Peacock also has produced several original shows.
Peacock’s free tier, with about two-thirds of the catalog, is available to watch right away with advertising after you register an email and password. You can unlock the full library of shows and movies for $5 a month plus ads. It will cost you $10 a month for the full catalog month without ads.
