Hannity slams ‘ignorant’ Jimmy Kimmel for comedian’s comments about Caitlyn Jenner

.

Sean Hannity took aim at Jimmy Kimmel after the late-night host criticized Hannity’s interview with California gubernatorial candidate Caitlyn Jenner.

“Far-left, low-rated late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is spewing more hatred and more rage,” Hannity said Monday. “What’s with all the anger and all the cheap shots?”

“Don’t you have anything better to do, maybe actually trying to be funny or boost your dismal ratings, because we’re actually crushing you,” he continued. “Let’s remind people. … You want to talk about ignorant a–holes? This is you dressed as Karl Malone … This is you, an ignorant a–hole, when you had a cucumber in your pants during The Man Show … You talk about my show, I’ll hit you back 50 times harder. The ball’s in your court.”

The Fox News host was responding to a Jimmy Kimmel Live! segment in which the comedian called California gubernatorial candidate Jenner an “ignorant a—hole” for her comments on California’s homeless population.

“Ah, homeless people, can’t walk around ‘em, can’t fly over ‘em,” Kimmel said, referencing Jenner’s claims that her friend “can’t walk down the streets and see the homeless.”

“Is it transphobic to call a trans person an ignorant a–hole,” Kimmel continued. “Or does calling that trans person an ignorant a–hole, even though she happens to be a trans person, show that we don’t discriminate against ignorant a–holes no matter what their gender orientation?”

“Jimmy, what is with all the anger and all the cheap shots? Yeah, in case you haven’t noticed, homeless people are all over your state,” Hannity responded.

Hannity then played a clip from the early 2000s of Kimmel in blackface and impersonating NBA star Karl Malone. The clip has been a source of embarrassment for Kimmel after it resurfaced last year, prompting an apology.

“I apologize to those who were genuinely hurt or offended by the makeup I wore or the words I spoke,” Kimmel said at the time.

Hannity and Kimmel have a history of feuding, most recently in 2018 when Hannity called Kimmel a “despicable disgrace” and an “a–clown” after the comedian mocked former first lady Melania Trump’s accent.

“If I’m an a–clown … you, Sean, are the whole a–circus,” Kimmel responded.

The two eventually called a truce, with Kimmel saying, “the level of vitriol from all sides … does nothing good for anyone, and in fact, is harmful to our country.”
