The Waterfront Adding New Retailer

A new business is arriving at the popular retail and restaurant complex.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Waterfront in Homestead is about to debut Simply Social, an entertainment retailer featuring a variety of rooms for customers to take selfies and group photos. The pop-up shop will open on April 30.

The space will open with 13 different social post-friendly backgrounds ready for groups and individuals. Several scenes will change out monthly, featuring everything from summer fun, to flower walls and Pittsburgh graffiti art.

Pricing varies based on age, with ranges set at 13 and up and 12 and under. Children under 3 are free. VIP party packages and special event rates will also be offered.

"We’re always looking for new experiential options to offer our visitors, in addition to our retail, dining and entertainment,” said Emily Wittmer, The Waterfront's marketing director. “Simply Social brings a fun, modern twist to our Town Center.”

Simply Social is part of The Waterfront’s incubator program, which is designed to give opportunities to small businesses who may not otherwise have the resources to be part of a large shopping center.

  • Wednesday & Thursday: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Friday: 4 p.m.– 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12 p.m.- 9 p.m.
