Atlanta Peach Drop Returns To Ring In The New Year For 2022
After a two-year hiatus, the Peach Drop is returning to Atlanta for New Year's Eve, Atlanta city officials say.
ATLANTA, GA – Atlanta’s New Year’s Eve tradition of the Peach Drop will return after a two-year hiatus.
The City of Atlanta announced the return of the long-running event on Thursday, with more details to come, WSB TV reports.
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms canceled the event for 2019 with the plan to “reevaluate” the location, and the global coronavirus pandemic put a hold on the event in 2020.
