Mike Francesa is back in the lead in the New York City afternoon ratings radio game.
Newsday is reporting that WFAN’s Francesa finished first in April among men ages 25-54, according to data from Nielsen Audio covering the period March 28 to April 24.
Francesa registered a 7.5 percent of the share, while ESPN’s Michael Kay was second with a 6.1 rating.
Kay had taken over the lead following the winter months, but now Francesa has re-taken the lead in what has become a tense rivalry between the two outspoken radio hosts.
But Francesa shouldn’t get too comfortable as the May ratings will be released in about three weeks.
Stay tuned!
