Q train found totally covered in graffiti on Upper East Side

A vandal managed to cover the entire side of an MTA subway train in graffiti that was discovered Sunday night, according to a new report.

Photos first posted to Twitter by The City reporter Jose Martinez show the train covered stem to stern with what appears to be a pink, yellow and brown geometric design sporting large, green droplets.

Both ends of the train bore writing, with the letters ABS on one side and what appears to be the writer’s tag on the other.

The splash-job was discovered around 9 p.m. on a Q train at the 96th Street stop, sources told the outlet.

The MTA said it referred the incident to police, but the NYPD did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

It’s the second time in less than a year that someone — or a team of vandals — has covered an entire Q train in paint at that station. Taggers left a Manhattan Q train covered in graffiti while it was parked there overnight in August.
