DWI Checkpoint In Union Beach Friday Night

You've been warned: The checkpoint will go from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday, on the westbound lanes of 36 at Holy Family Church.

UNION BEACH, NJ — The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will conduct a DWI checkpoint this Friday, Sept. 14 off Highway 36 in Union Beach.

The checkpoint will be run from 10 p.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday. Task force members and officers from the Union Beach Police Department will pull vehicles from the westbound lanes into the Holy Family Church parking lot to determine driver’s sobriety, said Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, task force coordinator.

They are looking for drivers under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.
