GRAFTON, N.D. — A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged for a string of farmstead and warehouse burglaries across the northern Red River Valley, the Walsh County Sheriff's Office said in a Friday, Aug. 23, news release.
Law enforcement agencies investigating the burglaries executed a search warrant Thursday at three residences in Grafton and found stolen items, illegal narcotics and guns, according to the release. Police also seized a vehicle.
The burglaries were reported in Walsh, Pembina and Grand Forks counties in North Dakota as well as Marshall and Kittson counties in Minnesota.
Fidencio Stephan Martinez Jr. was arrested and charged for the burglaries. He was being held in Walsh County Jail in Grafton Friday and is set to appear in court for a bond hearing Monday, Aug. 26.
