CBS has found its replacement for Julie Chen on “The Talk.”
The network officially announced Carrie Ann Inaba as a full-time host on the daytime talk show.
Chen left “The Talk” last September after her husband, former CBS Corp. CEO Les Moonves, resigned from the media company amid a wave of sexual misconduct allegations against him.
Inaba has frequently served as a guest panelist since Chen’s departure.
“Having the opportunity to sit at the table with Eve, Sara, Sharon and Sheryl has been such an enriching experience, and I’m honored and looking forward to joining them daily,” Inaba said in a statement Wednesday. “It’s the authentic conversations and connection with the audience and the ladies that really drew me to THE TALK. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this show.”
The longtime “Dancing with the Stars” judge, 50, joins a panel that also includes Sharon Osbourne, Eve, Sheryl Osbourne and Sara Gilbert.
Chen, 48, has stood by her husband amid the scandal. Moonves, meanwhile, has denied the allegations against him, which include claims of sexual harassment and sexual assault.
Moonves, 69, parted ways with the network in September, and CBS announced last month that the longtime TV exec would not receive a $120 million severance package after an outside investigation determined he was fired for cause.
Chen remains the host of another CBS show, “Big Brother.”
