The newly christened Schwarbers must like December.

Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber and longtime girlfriend Paige Hartman got engaged just before Christmas last year, and the hometown sweethearts tied the knot this weekend.

“Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs Schwarber. What a beautiful wedding!! Cheers to many years of health, happiness and love,” Schwarber’s agent, Jason Romano, tweeted.

On Friday, Romano tweeted photos of his family at the Barnsley Resort northwest of Atlanta, saying they were “ready for the Schwarber wedding tomorrow!”

Former Cubs pitcher John Lackey’s wife, Kristina, also posted pics on Instagram.

“Great weekend with this guy!!! Got to see some amazing friends, celebrate the Schwarber’s wedding, and make it home in time this morning to watch the kids at church!” she wrote.

In addition to Lackey, Jon Lester, Kyle Hendricks, Jake Arrieta, Albert Almora Jr. and Travis Wood were among the current and former Cubs who attended the nuptials.

Krystal Almora posted a photo on Instagram of her and Albert at the wedding, writing: “Such a beautiful night celebrating two incredible people! Love you guys @paige.hartman22 @kschwarb12.”

Gina Grimm, wife of former Cubs and current Brewers pitcher Justin Grimm, posed together for a pic at the wedding with Gina showing off a baby bump.

She wrote on Instagram: “Congratulations to Kyle and Paige Schwarber!! We were so happy to be part of your special day!! Love you both!! @kschwarb12 @paige.hartman22 #25weekslookinglike35.”

The Schwarbers have been together since high school in Middletown, Ohio.

They continue a string of high-profile Cubs weddings with Kris and Jessica Bryant in 2017 and Anthony and Emily Rizzo last December.

Paige has been a fixture among Cubs wives and girlfriends at charity and social events since Kyle’s major-league debut in 2015.

She recalled the flight back from Cleveland after the Cubs won the World Series in 2016.

“So much fun,” she said in a 2017 interview with Chicago magazine. “All the wives and girlfriends and kids got to fly with the team that night.”
