Dennis Rodman slapped with battery charge for alleged bar attack

Dennis Rodman was hit with a misdemeanor battery charge for allegedly slapping a man in a Florida bar, a report said Thursday.

Rodman is accused of smacking the man twice in the face with an open hand while they were at a bar in Del Ray Beach celebrating his 58th birthday in May 2019, NBC News reported.

The victim — who was not identified — told police he woke up the next day with swelling to his face, according to the report.

He filed a police report two days after the alleged smacking, NBC reported.

Rodman pleaded not guilty to the charge through a lawyer, who appeared in court on his behalf on Thursday, according to the network.

He could face up to a year in jail if convicted.

In May, the NBA hall-of-famer was accused of stealing $500 worth of clothes from a California Yoga studio.

Rodman — who has had several run-ins with the law since retiring from professional basketball — denied swiping the clothes and claimed the studio was trying to shake him down.

Rodman said he asked the employee working at the studio if he and his group could “take a couple of gifts” and she agreed.
