WYCKOFF, NJ — A request for a second alarm was transmitted for assistance with a fire Sunday on Ralph Avenue in Wyckoff that involved a washing machine, according to authorities.

Fire crews from Wyckoff responded to the washing machine fire that was contained and partially extinguished by a water line that had burned through, officials said.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and the washing machine was removed from the home, officials said.
