First Ohio Vax-a-Million winners announced: $1 million payout goes to Hamilton County woman

Wednesday was the first of five weekly drawings in which vaccinated Ohioans were awarded a $1 million payout or a full, four-year college scholarship.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Lottery announced Wednesday night that Abbigail Bugenske of Silverton, in Hamilton County, won the first $1 million prize in the Ohio Vax-a-Million drawing.

Joseph Costello of Englewood in Montgomery County won a college scholarship for up to four years in which tuition, room and board and books are covered.
