In the ultimate wave of early 2000s angsty rock nostalgia, Avril Lavigne is embarking on a Greatest Hits Tour this spring.

The pop-punk princess is planning a Bay Area stop as part of the upcoming tour, set for May 28 at Mountain View’s Shoreline Amphitheatre.

“I’ll be doing the Greatest Hits from all of my albums and along with some of your favorites, perhaps some special requests?” the Canadian singer teased on Instagram. “And of course all of my friends are joining me!!!”

Her 27-stop North American tour is set to begin May 22 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and conclude on Sept. 16 in Edmonton, Alberta. She is also scheduled to bring the tour to a handful of festivals across the U.K. and Europe during the summer.

Ticket presales begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, with general sales starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26. A variety of VIP packages, including access to a hospitality lounge and unique merchandise bundles, will also be available for purchase.

The eight-time Grammy Award nominee has been easing back into the spotlight over the past few years, following a hiatus from the public eye to focus on her health and personal life. She was engaged to rapper Mod Sun, who assisted in producing her 2022 album “Love Sux,” in April of that year. The pair called off the engagement last February.

“Love Sux,” her seventh studio album, featured artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, Blackbear and Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus. She also received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022.
