A litter picker has found a Coca-Cola can dating back to the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico.

Jason Alexander, founder of Rubbish Walks in Ipswich, has been litter-picking and organising community events for tackling litter for more than 10 years in Suffolk.

He found the Coke can while walking his dog in Woodbridge.

Mr Alexander will be making this nearly 40-year-old can a part of his vintage litter museum.

He said: "I have a growing collection of vintage litter with new pieces being added every day."

The 1986 World Cup was the tournament which saw Argentina legend Diego Maradona's infamous 'Hand of God' goal that knocked out England in the quarter-finals.

Three Lions striker Gary Lineker was awarded the Golden Boot for that year having scored six goals in the tournament.

This side was led by Bryan Robson, and then Ipswich Town defender Terry Butcher was a regular part of the side.

Mr Alexander's museum has other old treasures such as a 55-year-old packet of crisps, a 1960s bottle of Pepsi and an original Tizer bottle.
