STAFFORD, VA—Authorities are looking for a man who pretended to be a cop while pulling over a female driver early Sunday afternoon, July 14, on Kings Highway near Caisson Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. He was wearing tan clothes, a hat and aviator sunglasses.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m., the driver was on Kings Highway when she was pulled over by someone driving a white vehicle with a long antenna and emergency lights. A man wearing the aforementioned items got out and approached the female's vehicle.

She told police she "sensed something was not right," so she refused to roll down her window without seeing the so-called officer's identification. The man then ran back to his vehicle and sped away toward King George. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-658-4400.
