Just when you thought you were going to have to condemn yourself to a life of watching Friends over and over and over again on Netflix, Channel 4 goes and pulls it out the bag with the return of one of our favourite TV shows: Married At First Sight.

That’s right – the TV show that sees people marrying strangers in the name of love entertainment is returning Thursday 15th February, and quite honestly, we don’t think we’ve ever been happier.

In case you're unfamiliar with the premise of Married At First Sight – or can't figure it out from the title – the Channel 4 show follows strangers as they meet for the first time at the altar.

That's right – the people taking part in the show have agreed to marry a stranger based solely on a bunch of tests carried out by a selection of relationship experts (and last year there was a vicar too…). The results of these tests determine which two strangers would make a perfect couple.

The trailer for the upcoming episode is, as you’d imagine, a rollercoaster of emotions.

One of the couples thrown together seems to be a having the time of their lives at their wedding, after meeting approximately one minute before exchanging rings.

But it soon cuts to the bride saying on her honeymoon: "It's more difficult than I anticipated. He's so up and down with me."
