Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are doing just fine.
After an Us Weekly report claimed the newlyweds were having marital problems, Baldwin, 22, wrote in an Instagram Story, “Don’t believe what ya read on the internet folks,” with a laughing emoji, eye-roll emoji and “Fake News” GIF.
The model and “Drop the Mic” host has not specified which rumors she is referring to, but the Us Weekly story quoted an alleged “insider” that said she and Bieber, 25, were “still having trust issues and a hard time.”
The anonymous source also said Bieber has been “very depressed, adding that he “still wants and needs her to be his wife and she wants to support him, but it’s hard when he’s going through all of this.”
Bieber has not commented on the reports, but the couple has been candid about the struggles of marriage in the past.
In the March issue of Vogue, Baldwin opened up, saying, “The thing is, marriage is very hard. That is the sentence you should lead with. It’s really effing hard.”
They also admitted to undergoing therapy to work on their communication issues, and Bieber added, “We don’t want to say the wrong thing, and so we’ve been struggling with not expressing our emotions, which has been driving me absolutely crazy because I just need to express myself, and it’s been really difficult to get her to say what she feels.”
The couple confirmed their marriage in November after being spotted in a New York City courthouse in September.
On Sunday, TMZ obtained photos of Baldwin and Bieber enjoying a beach day together.
