Viral Masters fan identified as Texas Tech cheerleader Aaliyah Kikumoto

Aaliyah Kikumoto is embracing her newfound measure of fame.

The Texas Tech cheerleader went viral while attending the 2023 Masters with her father over the weekend, getting some screen time as cameras focused on Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka at the 16th tee box at Augusta National — with Kikumoto in the background.

A 15-second clip zooming in on the Denver native went viral on TikTok, with the video captioned “Somehow I feel in love with someone I only saw for 15 seconds.”

The video, posted by the Double Bogeys account has over 2.8 million views as of Monday evening.

“Thts me,” Aaliyah wrote in the video’s comments section.

Grace Charis, the rising golf social media influencer couldn’t believe it.

“OMG, it is you,” Charis wrote with a crying laughing emoji.

Kikumoto’s parents, Charles and A.J. seemed to enjoy their daughter’s moment, replying to numerous tweets on Sunday.

“YAY!!! Repping Texas Tech!!! Go TTU Poms!!!! So proud of my hubby @CharlesKikumoto and TTU Poms daughter Aaliyah!!!!,” A.J. wrote under screengrabs of their CBS appearance.

Charles, wearing a Texas Tech hat, gained his own bit of notoriety as he was pointed out in several social media postings.

“[E]njoying easter at the masters with my TTU pom squad hat on,” he wrote. “Our daughter Aaliyah has the green masters hat on and goes to Tech. Wreck em!”

Aaliyah leaned into things with an Instagram post on Monday.

“thank you Ho. 16 🤩💚#themastersgirl #themasters,” she wrote, wearing the same green Masters hat she was captured wearing on the CBS broadcast.

When someone in the comments mentioned a potential uptick in her NIL future, Kikumoto seemed ready for it, replying “frrr.”
