Diddy is putting health above partying.

The Manhattan-born rapper whose real name is Sean Combs announced Monday that he’s forgoing his annual New Year’s Eve bash while the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rage.

“In efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy… Unfortunately we are not having a NYE party this year!” Diddy, 51, tweeted Monday morning. “I hope everyone had a blessed holiday and wish you all the best for the new year.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs won’t host his annual New Year’s Eve bash this year.

Diddy’s lavish blowouts have been the talk of Miami for the last few years, including last year’s bash at Story Nightclub, where the guest list included Fat Joe, Winnie Harlow, Meek Mill and Jonathan Cheban, according to TMZ.

Not all celebrities have been as responsible. Rita Ora apologized last month for throwing a 30th birthday party in Notting Hill that flouted England’s coronavirus shutdown, while Kendall Jenner went all out at a Halloween party attended by Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Scott Disick, The Weeknd, Jaden Smith and others, according to her own Instagram photos.

Kim Kardashian was also mocked for organizing a private island party for her “closest inner circle.”
